At the peak of the global Covid-19 crisis, amidst the confusion and fear, a powerful truth emerged: Individual actions, no matter how small, can create a formidable collective strength. "Stay at Home, Save Lives" became more than just a slogan; it became a testament to our shared resilience and unity. From this crucible of global challenge, YESAction (Youths for Environmentally Sustainable Action) arose, embodying the spirit of awareness, advocacy, and action.
Our planet, with all its majesty and fragility, is teetering on the brink. Experts, like those from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, caution us of a looming threshold. Beyond it lies a world of devastated food systems, colossal habitat loss, mass migrations, and extreme climatic turmoil. Yet the alarm bells ring not just for the environment, but also for our disjointed efforts. Our nation, despite its technological prowess, remains a leading contributor to waste and carbon emissions, largely due to a fractured approach to sustainable education and practice.
Navigating these environmental challenges requires
not just awareness, but also a steadfast, united approach.

Our chapters are the backbone of our movement. Recognizing their potential and the influence they can have at the community-based level, we are deeply committed to scaling our presence with a goal to establish a footprint in all 50 States. While expansion is a priority, we are equally focused on ensuring continuous support to these chapters by providing them with the necessary resources and opportunities. This dual focus ensures that as we grow in numbers, our commitment to equipping our chapters for a more sustainable future remains unshaken.

YESAction’s Evolution
Journey through Time
During this foundational year, as the world grappled with the pandemic, a profound realization took root. Observing the collective efforts in China to combat the crisis, the birth of YESAction was inspired. In September 2021, the first chapter of YESAction was officially established.
2021-2022
Rapid Expansion
Our efforts gained significant traction, resulting in the expansion of our chapter network to over 18. With an aim to address varied environmental challenges, initiatives like 'YESEducation', 'YESOutreach', and 'YESWater' were conceived and implemented.
2023 - Present
Inspiration Broadening Our Reach
2020-2021
Inspiration Amidst Adversity
This period was characterized by in-depth research, engaging conversations, and the establishment of our base structures. Forming connections with enthusiastic individuals, we launched 3-4 pioneering chapters. 'YESHabits', our inaugural initiative, began as an endeavor to encourage sustainable living practices. By February 2022, YESAction hits its first 10 chapters nationwide.
2022-2023
Inspiration Amidst Adversity
Our journey took an upward trajectory, with our influence stretching to over 70 chapters across the nation. New initiatives like 'YESHorticulture', focusing on sustainable agriculture, and 'YESCooking', promoting eco-conscious culinary practices, were introduced. With a spirit of continuous innovation, we're looking forward to creating and introducing even more impactful initiatives.
